Regional Integration TAC Options Meeting

The ISO has scheduled a stakeholder meeting in Portland, Oregon on June 1, 2016 to review the revised straw proposal for the Transmission Access Charge Options initiative.  The proposal will be published by close of business May 20 on the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/StakeholderProcesses/TransmissionAccessChargeOptions.aspxThe Transmission Access Charge Options initiative focuses on how to allocate costs associated with owning, operating and maintaining high voltage transmission facilities (i.e., facilities rated above 200 kV) placed under ISO operational control by participating transmission owners (PTOs), should the ISO expand its balancing authority area by integrating new PTOs with a load service territory.  The objective of the meeting is to present the revised straw proposal and discuss the various topics in preparation for the draft final proposal. The meeting will be held at the Collective Agency in downtown Portland, Oregon.  If planning to attend in person, please RSVP at smc@caiso.com by May 27 as space is limited to the first 60 people.  A web conference will be available for those who are unable to participate in person. Please note there will also be a stakeholder meeting for the Regional Resource Adequacy initiative held the following day, Thursday, June 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) at the same location.  More information on that stakeholder initiative and meeting is available at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/StakeholderProcesses/RegionalResourceAdequacy.aspxPlease submit comments on the revised straw proposal to initiativecomments@caiso.com by close of business June 10. Web Conference URL: http://ems7.intellor.com/login/704548.: Telephone Call-in: 877-369-5230, Passcode: 0596718#
