Purpose: The purpose of this workshop is for staff to present the preliminary IRP modeling results and to answer clarifying questions and receive preliminary feedback from the public. Staff will not discuss recommendations about the Reference System Plan or comments and replies made on the IRP Staff Proposal.

A quorum of Commissioners may be present at the workshop, but no votes will be taken. Other decision makers including Commissioners’ advisors and administrative law judges may also attend the workshop.

Background:

The IRP Staff Proposal was issued via ALJ Ruling to this service list on May 16, 2017. The purpose of the IRP Staff Proposal is to make recommendations on guidance for the CPUC IRP process and contents, including a detailed proposal for modeling in IRP.

The July 27th workshop notice will be posted to the Commission’s Daily Calendar. An agenda and presentation materials will be emailed to the service list in advance of the workshop.
