Rescheduled: Flexible Capacity Requirements Technical Study Call 11/25/13
The California ISO has rescheduled the Flexible Capacity Requirements technical study call from November 18 to November 25, 2013 to eliminate overlap with other stakeholder calls. Please submit comments by December 9.
The ISO has rescheduled the new Flexible Capacity Requirements initiative technical study call from November 18 to November 25, 2013 to eliminate overlap with other stakeholder calls. This new initiative provides an annual technical study designed to establish the ISO's flexible capacity requirements for resource adequacy filings.
The kick-off conferencecall is scheduled to give stakeholders the opportunity to provide input on the criteria, methodology, and assumptions to be used in the 2015 technical study. The call will cover the proposed assumptions and methodology to calculate:
Flexibility capacity requirements for all CPUC jurisdictional Load Serving Entities (LSEs) for 2014
Advisory flexible capacity requirements for all LSEs in the ISO Balancing Authority Area for Resource Adequacy (RA) compliance years 2015 - 2017, in advance of potentially mandatory requirements for at least CPUC jurisdictional LSEs that start with RA compliance year 2015
An agenda and presentation will be available at the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/informed/
Please submit written comments on the flexible capacity requirements to FCP@caiso.com by close of business December 9.
