This workshop is for modeling parties to inform other parties about the details and complexities of operational flexibility modeling in order to increase transparency and better equip other parties to interpret modeling results. Energy Division staff will facilitate presentations by parties conducting operational flexibility modeling of the 2024 grid and intending to submit modeling results as testimony to inform the CPUC LTPP Proceeding (R.13-12-010) Phase 1a determination of system need.
We ask modeling parties to present and explain their models in detail at this workshop. Presenters should notify Energy Division staff (firstname.lastname@example.org) of intent to present and amount of presentation time desired by May 21, 2014. Presentation slots and times may be limited based on the number of parties who wish to present. Presentation materials should be sent to Energy Division staff by June 4, 2014.
