CEC Regional Grid Operator and Governance Workshops

The California Energy Commission (CEC) and the California Governor's Office will host two Lead Commissioner workshops on considerations for the development of a governance structure for a regional grid operator. The purpose of the workshops is to provide public discussions of modifications to the California Independent System Operator's (California ISO) governance needed to facilitate the transition to a regional organization, while protecting California's environmental and energy policies.

To learn more about the workshops, the governance, participation and comment submission, please see the CEC announcement at http://docketpublic.energy.ca.gov/PublicDocuments/16-RGO-01/TN211718_20160603T141235_Notice_of_Regional_Grid_Operator_and_Governance_Workshops__6161.pdf.
