The ISO is accepting requests to establish system resources at Willow Beach as of Monday, February 3, 2014. Requests must be received by the ISO on or before February 14, 2014 to prepare for theFour Corners/Moenkopi to Willow Beach scheduling transition proposed effective date of February 28, 2014. Any requests received after February 14 will be processed according to the standard timeframe.
The Four Corners asset transfer and proposed assignment of SCE rights on Four Corners-Moenkopi-Eldorado transmission system requires scheduling, currently at Four Corners and Moenkopi, to transition to a new scheduling point at Willow Beach effective February 28, 2014, provided FERC accepts the proposed assignment agreement. As a result, new system resources will be required to begin scheduling at Willow Beach when the transition is implemented consistent with FERC approval. This proposal was described in a January 2 market notice.
Scheduling at FOURCORNE500 and MOENKOPI500 will terminate the day prior to the Willow Beach effective date.
A presentation describing the transition in more detail is available on the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/
